what was the goal?

With the implementation of this intelligent video surveillance solution, it was required to optimize and complement the existing security systems on the site, through the integration of artificial intelligence applied to video.

This technology would be responsible for supporting surveillance work through centralized monitoring of multiple camera brands and locations on the same platform; running custom analytics for automatic detection of critical events.

First of all, Alice Guardian is a video surveillance software in charge of perimeter monitoring using intelligent video analytics in the cloud .

This platform is capable of detecting intruders, handguns, people, hands up and much more, through computer vision and artificial intelligence.

About the customer

Seguridad Superior is a Colombian private security and surveillance company, belonging to the conglomerate of companies that make up Grupo Seguridad Superior.

This entity would be in charge of monitoring all the security cameras thanks to Focus Electronic, one of the Superior Security companies, in charge of managing the entire electronic security segment of the Icata residential complex in the city of Bogotá.

What did the customer need?

The site had within its perimeter security technologies:photoelectric barriers, electric fencing and PIR sensors. Which were complemented and optimized with Alice Guardian and its ability to analyze video of the environment. Generating a higher degree of reliability and bettertraceability in the face of any type of critical situation.

How was the solution deployed?

The plant had a surveillance system made up of a total of 20 security cameras connected to three recording technologies: XVR, DVR and NVR of the Hikvision and Dahua. brands.

These cameras were connected to a server on site with the following characteristics:

• Intel Core i5 11° Gen Processor
• Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Graphic Card.
• RAM 32GB.

On the other hand, it was integrated with Alice Cloud for monitoring in the cloud, the generation of backup copies of recordings and for the use of Alice App on mobile devices.

The solution: Intruder detector in video surveillance systems

According to the site security study, alerts were established both at night and during the day, where safe zones were created through personalized geofences that were in charge of constantly detecting intruders in the established site; generating intelligent alerts to the operators located in the monitoring center .

In addition, they had the support of Alice App, for monitoring and viewing alerts in real time on mobile devices. Ideal for times when the operator is on surveillance rounds.

The alerts would be in operation automatically, detecting, alerting and verifying critical events live, generating evidence with image, video and location.

All these smart alerts are stored in the cloud in order to have a record of everything and a backup copy of the recordings.

On the other hand , these stored evidences are easily accessible thanks to Alice’s Smart Searches .
